There are two ways to replace wooden floor with SPC lock floor:

The previous baseboards can be retained, and 5~10mm expansion joints should be left on the side of the spc floor against the wall to prevent deformation caused by thermal expansion and contraction of the board. At this time, you can use L-shaped edge trim (various colors) to fix it with glue. Glass glue can also be used to close the edge.

When laying planks in the living room, move the furniture first, leaving half of the space for planks. Be sure to pay attention to whether there are enough gaps between the door and the original ground. For example, the spc floor is 4mm thick, and if you add 1mm pearl cotton, an additional 6~7mm gap is needed there. If the gap is not large enough, see if the door can be adjusted.
